What do I need to use my merchant account?
If you already have a merchant account, ask
your bank to create a new terminal and configure it for
"Card Not Present" transactions. Give us the merchant
ID / terminal ID information, and we will
configure our service to transfer funds directly into
your merchant account.

Is there a fee for setting up my merchant account?
No. You can also start with
123Signup's merchant account, and switch to your
merchant account at any time at no additional cost.

Are there disadvantages to using my merchant account?
When credit card transactions are processed
online, they are authorized in real time. However,
funds are transferred to your bank in one or more daily
batches on a daily basis. The batch cut off time
varies and is rarely never exactly at mid-night. The funds
appear in your bank account in two to three
days. You need to allow for this lag time when
reconciling bank statements with 123Signup
statements.

each month, thereby simplifying your month-end
reconciliation process. You don't have to deal with
